At Fluid Adventures, we believe every season brings its own magic to the water. That’s why we offer a range of seasonal paddles designed to celebrate key calendar dates in unforgettable ways. From spooky Halloween paddles and Bonfire Night trips beneath beautiful fireworks over the South Downs, to festive Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day tours, each adventure reveals a new side of Chichester Harbour. Bring in the New Year with a midnight paddle and prosecco under the stars, or start fresh with a New Year’s Day paddle to blow away the cobwebs and embrace the year ahead. Whatever the season, our special event paddles blend atmosphere, camaraderie and the stunning beauty of the harbour into memories you’ll treasure long after your feet are back on dry land.

Bonfire Night

Imagine the peacefulness of night-time paddling, interrupted only by the sounds and sights of fireworks illuminating the sky above you. There's a high chance you'll see fireworks scattered across the South Downs for miles around on our Bonfire paddles. We recommend that you have kayaked a few times in daylight before joining this tour, that said, our expert guides are fully trained to lead groups safely in the dark, ensuring a smooth and exciting journey. If you're keen to join but lack experience, don’t worry! Contact us and we can arrange training sessions before the event so you’re ready to enjoy the adventure confidently. Christmas 

Join us for a festive paddle to explore Chichester Harbour (AONB). Along the way you’ll see birdlife, yachts and some fantastic views. This trip will start and end at Itchenor Public Slipway (PO20 7AW). From there why not enjoy the coastal path which runs along the side of the harbour and stretch your sea legs to relive the trip from another angle? Please note: If the conditions on the day mean that the planned route is unsuitable then we will do our best to try and get you on the water, this may mean changes to the advertised itinerary.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day (24th, 25th & 26th December): 10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm

New Years Eve

Are you looking for a special way to welcome the New Year? Join us for a midnight paddle in the stunning Chichester Harbour, where there's a good chance the night sky will be lit up with fireworks over the South Downs! This 2-hour guided trip will take you into the heart of the action as we toast the New Year with a complimentary glass of prosecco, glow sticks and a hot drink to finish. Please note we strongly recommend kayaking in daylight before joining this tour! Safety is our top priority, so anyone under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to join the trip. Bring warm layers, a head torch and dry clothes for afterwards - we’ll provide the rest. Let’s paddle into 2027 together!

Are you ready to kick off  2027 in style? 

What better way to celebrate than by joining us for a 2 hour paddle on the breathtaking Chichester Harbour? Say farewell to 2026 while welcoming 2027 in a truly unforgettable way. We’ll provide all the kit - you just need to bring warm layers and dry clothes for after. It’s the perfect way to shake off the night before, enjoy stunning winter views and start the year with fresh sea air, fun and great company! P.S. Bring your friends and family - there’s no better way to celebrate New Year’s Day than paddling together!
