A true sea kayaking challenge that combines breathtaking scenery, tidal planning and a real sense of achievement. Discover the island’s stunning coastline from every angle, exploring dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and wildlife-rich waters along the way. Gain confidence in navigation and sea kayaking techniques, while experiencing one of the UK’s most rewarding paddling journeys.
Practical Details
Food & Drink: Water will be available at all times and some meals are provided, but please bring additional snacks to keep your energy levels up!
Clothing: Wear comfortable lightweight clothing (sportswear is ideal) that you don't mind getting grubby. Bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen etc.) and raincoat - be prepared for all weathers!
Weather: Trips are weather dependent. If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll offer an alternative location or chance to reschedule
Experience Required
Due to the challenging nature of this trip, you should have:
Several longer paddling trips (25km+) under your belt
Some experience of offshore kayaking
A solid knowledge of rescue techniques
3* Sea Kayak Award skills are highly recommended
