Whether you're heading out along the coastline or venturing deeper into the harbour, it’s the perfect way to take your paddling adventures to the next level.

Gliding across the water in a sea kayak has a rhythm of its own. The quiet dip of the paddle, the gentle movement beneath you and the ever-changing views around each corner create a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s not about rushing, it’s about taking your time, exploring at your own pace and enjoying the simple feeling of being out on the water.
Sea kayaks offer a smoother, more efficient and immersive paddling experience compared to sit-on-top kayaks. Sitting lower in the water, you feel more connected to your surroundings, with a natural sense of balance and glide. They’re designed to travel further with less effort, making them ideal for longer journeys, exploring wider areas and enjoying a more peaceful, flowing rhythm on the water.

- Craft Available: Single and double sea kayaks
- Hire Durations: 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or full day
- Experience: Some previous paddling experience (Ideally you should have completed our Discover Sea Kayaking Course)
- What to Bring: Sun cream, water and a picnic if you're making a day of it. Wear clothing you don't mind getting damp.
- Please Note: Hire sessions are self-guided. No instructor accompanies you on the water.
