Old Harry Rocks are a spectacular place, and the best way to get a great view of them is from a Sea Kayak! Our trips start in Studland bay, and we traverse along the cliffs, allowing you to paddle through arches, among rocks and into caves before arriving in Swanage bay for a break for lunch. Our afternoon consists of reversing the trip so you get another chance to rack up those great photos of the white chalk cliffs, milky coloured water and experiencing the thrill of seeing beaches only accessible from the sea! We have paddled this route plenty of times but each time are awestruck by the shiny whiteness of the cliffs, and how imposing they are. It’s a fantastic feeling paddling along those cliffs, being able to get up close enough to touch them and see the effects that storms and weather have had. It’s a truly magical paddle which we would love to share with you.
Why not combine this with a trip to Durdle Door on the following day? It really makes for a fantastic weekend away!
Please note that this trip is weather dependant – if the weather is looking bad we will offer a chance to reschedule, or go to another location.
Pre-Requisites: Due to the nature of this trip, we need you to be able to paddle a kayak comfortably prior to attending this course. 2 star standard skills or above would be perfect.
