Durdle Door is not just a place to go on a geography field trip, it’s an amazing place to go Sea Kayaking as well! Join us on our Durdle Door Sea Kayak trip, and we will paddle along some towering cliffs, experience milky coloured water from the chalk in the cliffs, be able to go rock hopping, explore caves, see beaches which are only accessible by the water, plus of course paddle through Durdle Door in a Sea Kayak!
We start our trip at Ringstead, and traverse the cliffs along to Durdle Door, making sure we get loads of photos on the way. From there we go a little further to the beautiful Lulworth Cove for a lunch break. The afternoon consists of a return trip with more photo opportunities.
Why not combine this with a trip to Old Harry Rocks the day before? It would make for a great weekend away!
Please note that this trip is weather dependant – if the weather is looking bad we will offer a chance to reschedule, or go to another location.
Pre-Requisites: Due to the nature of this trip, we need you to be able to paddle a kayak comfortably prior to attending this course. 2 star standard skills or above would be perfect.
